From concept to completion

The project was intended to create a selection of 100 wines friendly to both people beginning their adventure with wine as well as those who have been passionate about this drink for a long time. Despite a small number of wines from Bordeaux and Burgundy wine connoisseurs will also find something for themselves. The selection of the On-The-Wave cellar focuses, in the case of white wines, on the classics from France (Burgundy, Loire Valley, Alsace) and from Italy (Alto Adige, Piedmont, Abruzzo, Friuli). Red wines are dominated by wines from Spain (Rioja, Priorat) and classics from Italy (Tuscany, Piedmont, Veneto). Among sparkling wines, we have a real gem from Spain from the producer of the best sparkling wine in the world Recaredo from Corpinnat appellation. The whole collection is completed by an excellent regional winemaker from Western Pomerania - Turnau Winery.

To make the wine selection easier, it has been divided into 8 groups. Whites into 3 categories and reds also into 3 categories, sweet wines and sparkling wines. The division of wines into categories accounts for their fullness, lightness, refinement, structure and robustness. All this makes that we have classic and modern wines in one card, which complement each other depending on what we want to combine with the chosen dish. For the purpose of displaying our wines Jacek designed a glass cabinet for several hundred bottles, located in the middle of the dining room at Seaside Park Hotel, which shines with its size, precision and gracefully presents our modern selection.
